Originally hailing from Brixton in South London, Antidote moved from listening to Hip Hop over to the newly-emerging Hardcore/Jungle sound at the end of 1989 and began deejaying and producing from early 1991. He has progressed over the years, never wavering from his sample-based roots and draws heavy influence from the likes of S.M.F, Bizzy B, Source Direct, Nucleus & Paradox, Dom & Roland, Arcon 2 and Technical Itch. As a result, his sound is raw, in your face and heavily adulterated. As a member of the Rupture Crew, with vinyl releases surfacing on Rupture LDN as well as on Paradox's Outsider Music, he strives to nurture his signature style of atmospheric, break-orientated Drum & Bass, keeping true to the music's original 90's blueprint.
